Samuel, who began his pipe organ studies when he was 9 years old, is currently the organist at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Beaumont. He has studied in Europe and won numerous awards. He plays everything from memory.
His recital, Organ Favorites, is the first in a series of six concerts to be presented at the church through May 10, 2009. Other performances feature Bonnie L. Brooks, James Rose Jr. and Amy Malyuk on Nov. 9; Elizabeth Stuart and Gary Pinter on Dec. 14; the Wittenberg University Choir on March 15; the Ohio State Men's Glee Club on April 26 and the annual Three Choir Concert (Revere, Copley-Fairlawn and Firestone High School choirs) on May 10.
