AKRON
2nd arrest in death
AKRON: Police arrested a man wanted on a warrant for aggravated murder after a two-hour standoff Saturday at a house on Royal Place.
SWAT team members entered the home shortly after 7 p.m. and took Lance I. Brown, 31, of Akron, into custody without incident, Lt. Rick Edwards said. Police had received a tip that he was there.
Brown has been charged in connection with the Aug. 16 shooting of 30-year-old Gary L. Bolar, who was a passenger in a car parked in front of the Delia Market on Delia Avenue.
The shooting was ''probably over drugs,'' Edwards said.
He did not know why Brown was at the house on Royal Place. Brown, who is in the Summit County Jail, was the second person arrested in the shooting. Dale D. Flint Sr., 35, of Akron, was arrested Sept. 3 and charged with complicity to commit aggravated murder.
