Even though this event is being sponsered by the Beacon specifically for Akron residents, can this forum be offered to Barberton citizens since we're in the same economical situation as Akron is, if not worse?
Not until you Barberton residents can show some sort of intellect. You vote the same people into office constantly, then wonder why your city is such crap. Open your eyes honey, it's not that hard to see.
Can you show me where it says it's specifically for Akron residents? I see that it's part of a series of topics which are affecting the "community." If you feel Barberton is not part of the larger community, that's your prespective. I highly doubt that when you pick up your tickets at various locations across Summit county they are going to check your id to see if you live in the correct zip code.

Tim, stooping to his level of prejudice and mudslinging isn't going to prove anything. Other than your ability to overreact to random ignorance.
NE Ohio's economic problems are due to skills and educational deficits, some of which stem from well known, years long issues with regard to regional demographics. We no longer live in a blue collar world where a high school education is all that's necessary in order to succeed. Some of us have know that. Others of us don't.
Amen to that Larry!
There's no restriction about attendance at the forum. Please come and participate!
