The list of presidential candidates and their surrogates converging on Ohio this week is long — and expected to grow longer.
Sen. Barack Obama will be in Toledo until Wednesday preparing for the third and final presidential debate that night. He unveiled an economic plan for helping the middle class at a Toledo event Monday afternoon but isn't scheduled to have any other public appearances.
Sen. Joe Biden, Obama's Democratic running mate, will begin a two-day bus tour in eastern Ohio today that will kick off with a stop in Warren.
The Warren event will be at the Warren Community Amphitheatre, 303 Mahoning Ave., at 10:30 a.m. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Tickets are not required, but people are encouraged to RSVP online at http://oh.barackobama.com. Space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited public parking is available and carpooling is recommended.
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the GOP vice presidential candidate, had an event in Southeast Ohio on Sunday, and Sen. Joe Lieberman made several stops on behalf of Palin and Sen. John McCain on Sunday and Monday.
Other visits are expected later in the week, but details haven't been released.
