Seeking donations
Love INC is seeking donations of coats of all sizes for children and adults for the sixth annual Community Coat Give-Away to be held Saturday. Coats should be new or gently worn and cleaned. For information on how to donate, call Celina at 330-762-1221.
Awards
Ohio State University Extension, Medina County, which coordinates the county's 4-H program, recently honored leaders, sponsors and volunteers at a banquet held in the Medina Community Center. Receiving recognition were Don and Cynthia Berry of West Salem; Linda Keiper of Seville; Les Valach of Medina; The Medina County Agricultural Society and Simmons Brothers Construction, both of Medina; Mallory Vereb of Wadsworth; and Rachel Sniff and Jacob Sniff, both of Sharon Center. Last year more than 600 volunteers and sponsors donated $40,000 and 100,000 hours to help youths of the county in more than 60 clubs.
