Wind chill, winter weather advisories issued

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for much of Northeast Ohio, including the counties of Summit, Medina, Portage, Stark and Wayne.

The advisory is in effect until 1 a.m. Wednesday. Areas covered by the advisory can expect 2 to 3 inches of new snow accumulation today. Windy conditions are expected to develop, creating poor visibility and snow drifting.

The weather service has also issued a wind chill advisory, effective from 6 p.m. today until 6 a.m. Wednesday. Wind chill readings as low as 10 degrees below zero are expected tonight.

Shoot! It took me an hour to get from Green to Montrose this morning, and it is not even bad out yet.

We even had some freezing drizzle around 6:00 AM, just to start the day off right.

Beet juice won't help with those windchill temps. Unless, of course, it's fermented.
