William Paul Young, author of the novel The Shack, will speak at 1 and 7 p.m. June 25 at First Congregational Church of Akron, 292 E. Market St.
Young will share his thoughts and views about God, lead a question-and-discussion session and sign books. His visit is part of the local church's New Thought Thursday, a program that offers ideas, speakers and experiences to enhance the spiritual journey of those in attendance.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at http://www.theshacktour.com or by calling 866-440-7880. Seating is limited.
