Police are looking for a former Tallmadge man who they believe helped rob a Barberton drive-through where an accomplice was shot.
A body believed to be the accomplice was later found dumped outside an Akron hospital.
Police have issued an arrest warrant for Dennis J. Williams, 54.
The dead man has been identified as Arron N. Agler, 29, of Stow.
Police said one of a pair of robbers was shot Thursday night at the 619 Brew Thru at Fifth Avenue Southeast and Snyder Avenue.
A short time later, Agler's body was discovered in a parking lot near Akron General Hospital. He died of gunshot wounds, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office.
Police say the store's owner, Morad A. Fares, 22, told them he shot one of the robbers after he was threatened with a firearm.
''He believed there was a weapon,'' Kallai said. ''When we get Mr. Williams, we'll know for sure.''
Williams is believed to be driving a red 1995 Nissan Maxima with temporary tags. Kallai said Williams has lived in area shelters while separated from his wife.
Drug abuse is being investigated as a possible motive for the robbery, police said.
Williams was convicted in 2003 of trafficking cocaine and other charges. He was sentenced in Summit County Common Pleas Court to two years in prison.
Williams sought an early release a year later, saying his ''character and attitude has changed'' and that it is ''unlikely he will commit another crime.'' The request was denied.
Anyone with information about Williams' whereabouts is asked to contact the Barberton police at 330-745-2181.

nice to know he took such good care of his partner, dumping him in the street. And people say drugs are a victimless crime....like hard drug users are gonna hold down real jobs to pay for their dope...c'mon
I think Arron Agler was once a college quaterback, for Michigan State?
That's the chance you take when you rob someone. Was it worth it, did they even get anything?
~~ soo glad that the owner Morad didnt get hurt! i think people will think twice befor trying to rob this place again! CHUMP CHANGE for this mans life!! if he even got any money~
Who is "Kallai?" Now, Mr. Morad A. Fares has to spend a few weeks worrying whether or not he will be charged. Is there a category for best drive-thru, if so, my vote goes to the Brew Thru in Barberton. And best in pizza goes to..."Your Pizza Place" on 1077 West Exchange.
This is what really gets me...Yes it was wrong and illegal what was done that night but does that make it right for the owner to take Arron's life? No it does not. Guilty parties should be punished but not to the extent of one losing their life. The reports state that they were driving away and LEAVING at the time of the shots...''He believed there was a weapon,'' Kallai said. I just don't understand how much danger the owner felt like he was in to shoot at him as they were fleeing the scene.. A man has a right to defend himself and his property but is it still considered defending when the"aggressor" is no longer around?? And for what nickles and pennies?? I don't understand why the clerk had to take it there over the lose change that they may have gotten away with.. The police should have been called the owner never should have taken it that far. He chanced them retaliating and if this happened he would have been putting himself and all employees in jeopardy.. Drugs involved...put them in rehab instead of a grave..In no way am I advocating robbery, this man is now dead and not around to defend himself on whether he did or did not have a gun.. guilty parties should be punished and in my opinion ALL of them are guilty!
Any person who tries to steal another person's property or money should be killed. We should admire a 22 year old man with the guts to own his own business and try to make something of himself. The thug who was too lazy to get a job and earn his own money got what he deserved. A slug! A slug for a slug!
Kissy: you're getting way too speculative. Eventually the facts will come to light for sure, but one doesn't try to knowingly rob a business, and not expect to be shot at, especially when threatening.
This dude's just trying to save his a** from robbers...just my views....
"Any person who tries to steal another persons property or money should be killed"??? I hope you've never stolen anything in your life Zipped... See you don't even know this guys story but your calling him a thug and lazy?? How does it feel to be so high sitting up there next to God??
Kissy
what happened was crime prevention. The next robber who takes a gun into a store may say Hmmmmm I may get shot doing this.
The preadatdor got shot he was the person who intialized the incident. Shoot more and have less crime.
It worked in the 70's when APD had police on stake outs. 2 or 3 thugs shot and Dairy mart operated a long time without robberies in the area,
Were they dangerous yes. several officers caught bullets in there bullet proof vest.
When the robber is stopped I call this a loved story in jail or to the morgue it works
Its was dangerous remember they want to kill you they say or give me your money
NathenG get a life
Kissy, smart person.Too wrongs dont make it wright.
Funny how now that the beacon knows these guys are white we are allowed to comment on it .That is why sensorship is not a good thing, one person deciding what you should or shouldn't be reading or commenting on.
Why Phil. Y'all are allowin' comments on a non-racially charged story?? Heaven forbid.
May I suggest that y'all prevent comments from all of y'alls stories. That way y'all and the ABJ, won't look so biased.
Now with that said, hurrah for the business owner for his bravery and fortitude. It takes a lot for an honest man to pull the trigger.
Kissy, y'all seem to be a tad confused about the story here. Let me help y'all out with this one.
The boy attempted to rob the place and the business owner helped him into the next life.
End of story.
I say we should ALL take a trip to this drive thru and give this man all our business. Then go to YOUR pizza and pick one up.
If you are willing to be a big man and rob people instead of getting a job and earning your money like you should, they you may face severe consequences, as this person found out.
You need to believe every shop owner is armed and then you would think twice before committing a crime. We need to all stand up for what is ours and what we work hard for, no more hand outs (welfare), no more supporting drug/gambling habits by taking from honest, hardworking citizens. Go to rehab, kick your drug habit and get a job and become a productive member of society.
I am waiting for the victim's relatives to start the comments about what a wonderful person he was, he was in church every Sunday, etc. That will be next and then they will have a site for us to make donations to pay for his funeral.
People need to stop being victims to these thugs and gangsters and take back our streets and towns. You best believe if you ever try to rob me or mine, you will find something very unpleasant waiting for you.
You all need to leave the pizza place out of it that was 3months ago move on.
It doesn't matter how long ago it was, the point of the matter is that owner took a stand against the puke of society and we need to continue to give him our business and our thanks for ridding our streets of yet another scumbag who doesn't want to get a job and work for things like the rest of us.
Personally, I will go out of my way to visit these businesses and show them my support and so should everyone else. We, as a community need to take our streets and neighborhoods back from this scum and when someone aids us in that quest, they deserve our business as well as our thanks.
aunttata I have a job and a life.not like you to comment on died people for the family to read them.
I have a job and a life too, all I am saying is if you choose to live your life the way these people do then you suffer the consequences. The owner of the drive thru and the pizza shop have worked hard for what they have and for people to comment that they deserve to be charged with a crime for defending themselves and their property is, in my opinion, WRONG.
Additionally, the correct word would be DEAD people, not died people. This is a public forum so if the family's of the victims don't want to read the comments, they can feel free to not come onto the forum.
So I saw the comment about a Mich. State QB having the same name and looked some stuff up....
http://www.cleveland.com/crime/index.ssf/2009/07/arron_agler_dies_outside_akron.html
That's pictures of the two scumbags that did it....but
http://www.spartantailgate.com/forums/4923143-post21.html
Is that the same Arron Agler? They both would have been 29, are both from Ohio, and both look somewhat the same, that is, the criminal picture looks 10 years older.
Betamax, let's talk about bias. What's bias is the all of the poster's racist comments when a crime involves a black person, but yet when a white person commits a crime, there is truly a lack of comments in regards to the situation. The Beacon should not allow any comments from anyone at any time. What's bias is when I try to attack a racist comment, you conveniently overlook all of the racist remarks and zone directly on me and call me a racist. All races commit crimes and for some reason, you fail to see that. You use this board to say something that you would never say to one of us you meet on the street. Like the comment from JSS from Hudson. I bet he did not realize that one of the robbers was white. And since everyone is trying to use all of the articles to comment on the family that was attacked, I want to say that was horrific. These young animals should get 10 years of hard labor on a chain gang. I don't know any black that took delight in these attacks. Don't blame all of us, however. Just like I am not blaming you for all of the horrific attacks the KKK committed against blacks.
clebrowns33...thats the same dude. Crack kills, hard drugs ruin lives. 29 years old robbing businesses with a guy from a homeless shelter.
well it looks like another trip to the akron area is in order, to patronize another local hero, yes the owner of the drive tru. And for all you people who keep shouting for gun control this man showed the true meaning of gun control, the ability to hit his target. Some of you need to see the fact that it doesnt matter the color of the skin, the only way to stop a real predator is to put it down it .As for as the business owner im sorry he had to be the one to due it but you all should thank him for saving a friend, relative or just some unknown person who was going to be the next victim. im not picky if your white, black, yellow, red or purple. If you come and try to take whats not yours with the threat of harm i will fill you with more glazer safety slugs then you can carry. To the people of akron..GOOD LUCK in taking your city back. The good people of se ohio are behind you
~ the owner of this drive-thru, keep doing what your doing and i admire you for you being so young and (good lookin') and doing to right thing in life! also thank you for opening the 619 BREW THRU! i live few house down the road and that building has been empty for years, my thoughts are with him while they decide to rule in his favor, ACTED IN SELF-DEFENCE...
aunttata like i said.
You no nothing about anyone of these people.
But you want to sit back and judge. You no nothing but one thing in the paper. And that is it.So as i said get a life because you dont have one.
black or white it does not matter if you are going to rob someone you need shot. Maybe it will send a message to others not to be a thug!
Another justified CCW holder strikes again!!!!
I'm not sure if the ABJ mentioned this, but those 2 punks are the same 2 punks who robbed The Noisy Oyster restaraunt and bar on Monday night. I know this cauce the police came in and asked the guy who they robbed and he confirmed it. And yes he did say he had a gun. I have no sympathy for them. Black or white it doesn't matter, they got what they deserved !!
8chanice.........these comment sections are posted for people to judge...dont read the columns unless you want to know what the citizens think...
Hey Nazi Scout: At least you have that option. Blacks in the 50's did not have that option when they were getting lynched. HHHHMMMMMMM. Also, in case you have selective reading, one man involved in the robbery was white. I guess he took your advice.
Why would you talk about someone that cant here you.
robbed the noisy oyster too? at least their crime spree is over now. thanks brew thru!
check this out.. ive known AA for years now. Been a long time DJ in the college town of Bowling Green Ohio and has been really heavy into cocaine and a bit of other hard drugs over the past several years. He's stolen from his friends, including cash, cars, and property. When he didnt come around BG anymore, he was said to have moved to the Cleveland area to straighten out his life. And why would you move to Cleveland to straighten out your life?? yeah... so a few months go by and now we hear he attempted to rob a drive thru and was shot to death. Some things never change...
and 8chanice:
tata doesnt need to KNOW this guy to KNOW his type.
The ignorance in some of these posts is astonishing.. You talk about Arron being lazy and a thug well I bet he had more education and was more articulate than any one on here talking about how it was deserved and warranted. A man should not decide when and where to take another man's life that is up to God..no matter what the circumstances!! They left there leaving everyone in the store safe and healthy while the owner decided that wasn't good enough..It was wrong what they did but they were not there to kill ...The owner of the store flaunts his nice cars, money, and his real estate so why would he find it necessary to TAKE A LIFE over what MAYBE a couple hundred dollars!! Not even worth it..the situation could have ended even more tragically than it did. Fill out a police report he should have never took the law into his own hands..this man was wrong for taking another man's life especially when they were LEAVING!! The clerk became the pursuer the moment he started chasing them when they were already "safe" IF you ask me that makes him a KILLER!! Arron might have been a lot of things but at least he did not kill anyone..None of you knew Arron or his story..how do you know he was unemployed and strung out on drugs? Maybe he was promised money or some type of compensation for helping this other man out??? Maybe he was just doing what anyone else would do trying to provide for their family, especially in these times... NONE of you know...why pass judgment???? The man is not here to defend himself he did not deserve to die. I pray for his family and all those who knew him.. LET THE MAN REST IN PEACE!!!
nickthomas..if you really knew him like you say you do then why the comment "they say he moved to cleveland" ifyou were boys wouldn't you know this?
If you can't do the time, be it prison or the big dirt nap, don't do the crime. It does not matter the color, what matters is the motive.
However, the cream-of-the-crop in the gene pool stayed in the car.
If he was that educated:GET A JOB!!! Why rob a store? Guy was another loser glad he's gone, one less thug in the area and maybe a few more to get shot would wake these morons up.
Kissy, How DARE that owner of the store flaunt the nice cars, money, and real estate! SHAME on the owner for providing temptation. The owner SHOULD, according to the dynamic duo, Obama Dim Biden, hand it over to the less fortunate brother as a sign of Marxism / Socialism.
"From those according to their ability to those according to their needs." BULL! Captialism, baby! You want it, you earn it!
Hey, thugs! Go ahead, rob me. Come and get it. It is all here, ripe for the picking. Unfortunately, what you'll end up getting is some internally-placed FMJ bling that the corpse-cutter at the county morgue will have to remove with pliers.
Seriously, I've HAD IT with the "I ain't gots it so I gonna takes it" mentality.
The comment was supposed to state that he has money..... so why be mad and KILL someone over beer money??? not worth it.. And its not "handing it over" but doing whats SAFEST!! I never said theft was okay because its not but to kill over scraps is worthless...anyone ever think of his family?? This guy was not a thug nor lazy. He had TWO jobs!! but you wouldn't know that from reading what the media puts out there now would you??
Michael Jackson, Steve McNair, Wendel Managan (thug killed at Highland Square) and now Arron Agler. All really nice boys. When will it end?
Krissy10 ~ How dare these two low lifes rob a MINIMUM WAGE worker and threaten that workers life? TWO JOBS? Bulls$%t!!!!!!! Robbing people/businesses and selling drugs is not classified as gainful employment. If you have a JOB you have no reason to rob someone.
BRAVO to this owner! Anyone that is willing to defend his property and his employees gets my business from now on. I just live a few houses doen the street and I am usually just getting home at this time of night from MY job that is over an hours commute away, this business owner may have saved my life.
C'mon, cookie lady.....get a clue! Yes, TWO jobs! Burglary by day, robbery by night.
....and you can thank the Democrats for the way blacks were treated all of these years, dating back to the late 1800's. Let's not forget slavery, segregation, fire hoses, German Shepherds, and the KKK. Yes, MLK was a Republican.
And Kissy, take the fugging blinders off! "Anyone ever think of his family?" Did the a-hole think of his victim's family?!
Amen Scout & Thunder. Very well said.
little miss daddysgirl, you need to get a clue on life. you make the female race look like un-educated morons.
Kissy - i hope someone someday puts you in a situation where you have to defend yourself even if it means killing another, then see what you have to say.
@kissy10 "Maybe he was just doing what anyone else would do trying to provide for their family, especially in these times..."
What "anyone else would do"???? I would never try to rob someone at gunpoint and I don't know anyone who would.
OH wow Thunder31 I forgot how employment is classified now, how stupid of me.
Well since we are supposed to be thinking about...wonder how much he paid into Social Security? OH wait........that's right it's OUR job to think of his family........whelp.......there's another family livin' and eatin' good off of my tax dollars.
Kissy believes nobody but God can take another persons life in all situations...so if a guy with a gun shoots your family and you're standing there with your own gun, you have to wait for God to kill him. Kissy must be about 16 years old. Agler was on a crime spree, committing at least two robberies, likely more. Who cares what happened to him.
Stealing is wrong, no doubt about it and so is killing. I think there are commandments against both.
Anyone that would celebrate the loss of life should maybe rethink their priorities.
If you really believe that you should be killed for stealing, you should go live in Iran or other Islamic Republics where that sort of justice is acceptable and condoned. Thankfully in America we have DUE PROCESS which is what that dead guy deserved.
Anytime someone dies it is tragic, that was someones son, brother, friend.
Plus we don't even know that they were armed.
But speculate on you hate mongers. It's so much easier to assume he had a gun than admit that maybe, just possibly, this wasn't a justifierd homicide.
Until all facts come out, I will reserve judgement.
Ah go camping for the weekend and now time to catch up on all the missed crimes of the weekend.
Kissy- Those that were shot are thugs. If they were involved in the earlier crime then they were on what is called a "spree" meaning there was more to come. This wasn't a one time thing to take care of the family. The owner had every right to shoot the thugs. Yes they are THUGS! Anyone that shows up with a gun to rob another of what they have earned LEGALLY is a thug. And how do YOU know they were pulling away when shot at? Were you in the car with them? Did you see the car after the incident? Maybe you should talk with the Barberton PD if you have some insider info.
Thankfully here in Ohio we have the Castle Law that allows citizens to protect our "castles" meaning our home or business. Just like I have every right to shoot someone that is on my property and threating my life, the owner has the same right to shoot someone coming to his business and threatening his life. Showing up with a gun to commit a robbery is threatening the life of whoever you are robbing. Doing so in the Akron area and surrounding communities is asking to be shot as the owners and citizens are taking up arms to protect themselves with the recent rise in crime. Its time for the citizens to arm themselves to protect what you have worked hard for and not let some low-life come up and take it from you.
Sorry if this double posts but had an http error on last try.
True, judgement should be reserved until all facts are out...also true, stealing does not deserve the death penalty. But he was threatened with use of deadly force, in your world Lifer we have to wait until we are shot first before taking action.
I'm not happy the man is dead, but one of the risks of being a robber is somebody may kill you.
What nut made a comment and you cant comment bank. stay off of the computer.
8chanice.....par for the course, your post made no sense whatsoever. Were you talking to yourself?
In my world, coincidently the same one we all live in, the threat of violence does not deserve such harsh reprisal. If I tried to kill everyone that had ever threatened me there wouldn't be so many people in "my world". lol
If the robbers had a gun, and that's a big "if", the homicide is justified. Otherwise it's little more than vigilante justice, of which I am not a fan.
I agree completely grubby, there are rather large risks for being a criminal and death is certainly one of them. It's a shame people will die to feed their habit. It's a sad fact, but a fact nonetheless.
Can't argue with that Lifer.
To Kissy & 8chanice, When people like you two stop defending and making excuses for criminals the city will be a better place. If more criminals died trying to rob people there would be less crime. If more scumbag YBM's died while trying to beat people down the city would be a better place. Teach your children that their actions have consequences and crime can get you killed and the city might be a better place. Good riddance!
Thunder31 - Give me five! 8chanice spells "back" - b-a-n-k. I think she means it. Akron Public Schools - dropout or grad with honors! Could be either one. Or it could have been an honest mistake, seeing as how the "n" key is only 3 keys away from "c" key. But in earlier posts she typed "comment on died people", "talk about someone that cant here you" and " you no nothing". This is a real piece of work. I'll bet she voted for Obuma. Please keep the posts coming 8chanice!
Sick of Politicians, I've corrected this girl several times on her punctuation, sentence structure, and grammar. I've told her to delete the "Hooked on Ebonics" programs and try "Hooked on Phonix". In one ear and out the other. More than likely, a product of the Akron School System.
Akron cops and prosecutor listen up, Barberton knows how to catch thugs. Follow their lead. Maybe you can make Akron safe for people to watch fireworks for the next July 4th.
Barberton cops didnt have a problem doing the job why do you Akron cops?
Yes he did play at michigan state, then tranferred to kent state for one year. He has been a drug addict for years. I knew him from high school
Arron Agler was a great guy, i seen him not even a few weeks ago at his apartment, and i would never suspect this from him. Its unbelievable, and hopefully very soon they shed some light on this investigation..i cant even believe that he's dead, he may of had his problems with drug addiction, but he should not be dead because of this incident.
I am a family physician from Indianapolis and I only start with that because everyone here seems to be concerned about stereotyping and education or lack thereof. I have known Arron since college. He was a quarterback at Michigan State and has a bowl ring. I met him when we both worked at a residential church camp for kids. Arron was an amazing role model for those kids and his spirit will live on in them and the other people he touched. Arron was an intelligent guy, he loved music and as a friend he helped me out on more than one occasion. He grew up in a family with two loving parents. I am not here to validate his choices or to engage in a discussion about the merits of self defense. All I want to do is to point out that its so easy to be "glad a thug died" because he "deserved it" when you don't know them. I think for most people, the above characteristics don't embody the typical thug stereotype that is being perpetrated. Arron made some really terrible choices in life, but at his core, he was a loving, caring person and a genuine friend. He leaves behind a daughter and an immeasurable number of people that he taught something to including myself. No matter what your views are politically, this is a real person that didn't get to die with dignity, so the least we can do as fellow human beings is let him rest in dignity. RIP Arron, I love you man.
Thunder dont get me started .And if you go to one of the comments for me.It says tata can say something about the, person ,and they dont need to no them.
but who did the comment come from.the comment of misspelled words.Who never made a mistack im not perfect.
aol
sdrinder: Did you hear the rumor that he robbed a drive-thru with a gun or knife! If not you can read the article you are posting to.
My thoughts if he had a gun and robbed the clerk he got what he had coming. Plain and simple when you play with guns you are bound to get shot. Its not ok to threaten someone with a weapon and steal their money they work hard for.
Kissy, unfortunately, is today's America. She is "We the Sheeple" personified. She believes it is the Declaration of Dependence, not Independence. She believes Mr. Fares owes her something b/c of all his hard earned money. Wanna bet she voted Obama? I have yet to read in either article that the bad guy was already gone and Fares went after him and murdered him, as Kissy would want you to believe. Only a few people know how it went down. We is known is that two people went to a store with the intent of robbing it. Mr. Fares, I applaud you. Instead of becoming a victim, you leveled the playing field.
Krystal, I have a clue and let me show you where to put it.
And yes Krystal, it daddysgirl.
And Krystal, we can take this up a level if you'd like. Let me know, fool.
Kissy,
I'm sorry for your loss but...
You ask if the store clerk thought about what this would do to Aaron's family. Did Aaaron think about what this would do to his family? Obviously not. So why would the clerk? He didn't know Aaron's family.
Did the accomplice tell you they were driving away when this happened? I'm not so sure you should take his word for it.
Aaron is responsible for what happened to him. Aaron's actions started the chain of events. You can't expect someone else to suffer consequences from Aaron's bad choices.
sdrinder i appreciate someone saying what arron truly was, which was a respectable and loving human being. he may have had his difficulties but as i knew him he was passionate, well mannered, and a great person to hang out with. he will truly be missed, and my prayers are with his family
I'm glad this guy was shot. His skin color doesn't matter, his actions lead to his death. Maybe he should have been at home taking care of his daughter, or working at a jobe since he was so highly educated. I would think he had many opportunites, but instead preferred illegal drugs and crime as his path. Now he is dead because of his choices. Nobody to blame here except him. Nice of his partner to dump his body off in a hospital parking lot too.
For anyone who blames the employee or the business - please post your address so the next criminal can rob you and not be shot, or face prosecution because they are just trying to get by.
I sure he was a nice boy that drank milk and did his homework on time. That was then, this is now.
Krissy.... When I say I "know" Arron, it doesn't have to mean that "I'm am friends" with him. He is friends with a couple of friends of mine, and I have been around him as an aquaintance several times. I have known him for several years now, hell, dating back to his almost non-existant days at Michigan State University. I know he sold his Citrus Bowl ring on ebay for drug money, because who wouldn't want to give away a lifelong heirloom? Please. The only job this joker had was being a coked up DJ at a Bowling Green dance club, and thats when he was actually staying out of trouble in Findlay and the surrounding areas. I remember him stealing one of his "friends" cars and keeping it for several weeks. He didn't give the car back until he was arrested on a warrant out of Findlay Ohio for other crimes.
He was caught with the stolen car because he didn't take care of fines and such in Findlay, and why having "2" jobs can't you take care of the 200 dollars worth of fines in a small town like that? Who knows? Now we hear that he was probably behind the night club robbery also? Hmm....when does he have time to work 2 jobs? Why run around with a homeless 50-something year old man, who has a previous cocaine trafficking record? Why blame the drive thru guy for sending a legal message after the crime Arron committed? If you are threatened with a gun, or with anything for that matter, you have the right to protect your property. If he didnt shoot this time, maybe he would have next time. Krissy, I have no idea why you would be so apologetic for this man and his sorry excuse of an adult life. Talk about being educated? Show me the smarts in the life he has led. You either don't really know him, or you are trying to give excuses for his actions. Sure your name isn't Gina?
No he didn't deserve to die...yes he assumed that risk when he went into a place of business with a gun.
I wish that people would think of their families more and the people that love them before they put themselves in a position where they can die or get locked up
sorry mj
ebony & ivory,
tried together to do a drive-thru robbery,
but one got shot,
& the other drop him outside of emergency.
I hate when everyone sticks up for knucklehead thugs!!!! oh he had a family,,,he was such a nice boy,,,he had a daughter................BIG Friggen Deal!!!! He commited a crime........end of story!!! time for law abiding citizens to take back our cities and towns...........take them out by what ever means necessary!!! I personnely like using my S&W .357 One shot.....one kill!!!!
Well one thing is for sure, Agler won't be around to rob anyone else from now on and that's a good thing. Thanks Mr Fares for making the streets safer.
You go into SnyderTown packing heat, you're going to be sent packing... not smart.
let's just pray for world peace. all this crime is ridiculous and its sad because people who have records dont wanna work hard enough to make it better for themselves.
Daddy's girl YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!! These racist beasts are probably cowards in their every day lives.
Wow! You all should be so proud that you live in the great USA & are able to freely express your opinions! That's why other countries view us as so arrogant becuz we speak without knowing facts or persons and end up making fools of ourselves with our prejudice, ill spoken comments.
Think before you speak people....this is going to stay on the internet for his daughter (my GRANDDAUGHTER) to read one day. Arron's family has endured enough pain!
I'm not condoning Arron's actions whatsoever, but who are you to judge a man you don't even know? Have some tact and think of his family. How would you feel if you read comments like this about someone you unconditionally loved?
Arron was a wonderful, talented guy with alot of problems. He made some terrible choices to which he paid for with his life. Enough said!
One of the lessons that should be learned from this: cocaine ruins lives...the life of the user and all those around them. I can't believe people get on here and argue for legalizing all drugs....is this what you want? Addicts who will do anything to pay for their junk? Sure Aaron was probably a nice guy at times, but it sounds like he had plenty of reasons to give up his drug fueled lifestyle. Its a good thing he was stopped before some innocent person got hurt in one of his robberies.
I've tried wording my comment two different ways, but for some reason the "Leaking Urinal" chooses to withold it. One more time: Law abiding citizens are arming themselves against illegaly armed thugs. The armed CCW holder has been trained with his weapon. The thug obtained his gun illegaly and can't hit a target at 50 feet. The citizens are hitting their target and the thugs are dying. That's the way it should be.
THUNDER 31: Was I talking democrat and repub. NO. I am talking black and white. Lynchings, KKK, and slavery(99%) were conducted by the hand of the white man. And, for the most part, most blacks were repubs back in the day.
Kissy ~ You will be questioned , bet that .
Well I'm stopping by the 619 Ride Thru on my way home and picking up a six pack to celebrate one less criminal on the street... oooppppss, make that two less cirminals, I see they caught the other thug.
619 just got my business when i drive by on my way to the lakes-i will shake Mr.fares hand also.
Ducky: If he was such a good boy and loving dad, why would he put himself in a position to be killed? Where was his loving family that should have tried to intervene and help him out before he fell this far down? Don't play the how do you feel or know part, I have a brother falling down again on the crack/cocaine train ride. We've done all we can and sometimes there is nothing you can do to stop the downward spiral. He still gets money from us to keep from going out to do something stupid like this. Heck, we even sent him to jail as part of an intervention. Ever think of that? Don't blame yourselves that your loved one fell to drugs and became a common street thug. My sympathies to the ones that were left behind, but he started to live the life of a street thug and died just like one.
-On the crappy comp so apologize if double posts.

Ok, I can understand where your comments are coming from but let me give you a little brief on Aaron Agler. Aaron made mistakes, mistakes that cost him his life. He was not a bad guy he just got into the wrong crowd and made the wrong choices. He went to a small highschool where he was on the homecoming court and had a full ride scholarship to Michigan State. He was a sweet smart guy. He came from a good family and my prayers are with them right now. As for the comments that were made about his family coming out and saying what a good guy he was and how he went to church every sunday....shut up. Aaron was a good guy that just got involved in things that were bad and lost his life because of it. So before you want to jump on the band wagon and judge not only him but also his family, get your facts straight. It's easy to make judgement when your on the outside looking in.
all he had to do was say NO more of this,
guess He thought he could pull of one more job
before going straight...
If you want to be a man then stand on your own two feet. Problem is, there's too many hand-outs and people don't have any pride. Drugs, poor economy, bad breaks .....those are all just excuses. These fellas tried to steal and that's just wrong. Work for what you need; save for what you want; protect what is yours. Skin color has no bearing in these values.
Krissy, it sure sounds like you are okay with robbing people at gun point!? I sure hope not!! It is a terrible thing that happened but let it be a lesson to those who want to rob others for money or property!!
Mil Dots-thank you! Be an ADULT and grow up and take care of yourself. This guy had all sorts of oportunities and yet managed to mess it all up. I don't feel bad for this MORON at all. If you are to stupid to take advantage of what is given then glad your dead-at least one less person who can add more losers to the gene pool.
Amyone want to bet on NO JOBS being listed in his obit and donations can be made to help the family?
@8chancie... "Too wrongs dont make it wright."
Judging by your sentence, three wrongs must make a sentence right.
Same Arron Agler that played for MSU and then transferred to Kent.
I think the point many of these people are missing is that regardless of the fact that he was such a great guy and played for MSU etc etc.. he was also a grown up that knew better, yet chose to break the law. No one is questioning whether or not he was a swell guy, they are referring to his lack of judgement that led to this incident. plain and simple- you break the law, you pay the price, why is that hard to comprehend?
I didn't have time to read all the posts on here, but from the ones I have read, I would like to say a few things. I've known Aaron since I was a little kid...grew up with him. He played baseball and football with my brother. He was a wonderful guy back then and was nice to everyone.
He made some terrible choices in life that lead to his early death. No matter what the situation, it's very rude to speak ill of the dead. You don't know who you might be hurting with your words. I'm sure none of you are perfect. Think before you blog.
jcus who gives a care about what you think .Because you are sume and i mean that.
this story goes to show us if you do drugs the spirall down hill continues
"this story goes to show us if you do drugs the spirall down hill continues"
So spinechilling true. I gots my drugs for my Arthuritis. Gots some to help me pee. Then there's them heart ones that go right before the blood pressure suckers.
Down goes old Noodles.
@ Thunder31....and you can thank the Democrats for the way blacks were treated all of these years, dating back to the late 1800's. Let's not forget slavery, segregation, fire hoses, German Shepherds, and the KKK. Yes, MLK was a Republican.
Kinda Irrelvant,eh? Like the 50 year olds who still blame Mommy and Daddy for making their life so hard, when they moved out at 18...
@8Chanice & Kissy10
Are you two related? Same ridiculous logic...and apparently the same schooling in grammar, spelling, etc.
If someone attempts to rob or injure me and my family, they will be shot. Why? Because it is self-defense...and permited by law. I would hate to see what happens to you & yours when violated illegally in this manner. Think (*and proofread) before (*and after) you type!
2 "t's" in "permitted"...see how corrections work!
BW dont put me in your conversation. You dont no me.And i dont want to no you.Saying dumb stuff to start a conversation.Talk to the hand.
I stopped by his business after work and met the young man, he's a very nice guy. Don't hesitate to stop by and support this young man.
Ever hear this quote "There but for the grace of God, go I?" No matter which side of this story you are on, remember that you too could some day be in this same position. Personal attacks on the store owner, the perpetrators, or other posters are unneccesary.
A life has been lost and that is sad for all of the people who knew this young man.
Shooting anyone (no matter if it was self-protection or not) affects you for the rest of your life.
My prayers are with both families.
GHTW but some people dont beleive in (GOD).Because if they did, they would think like you.
Dadof2 The only person that needs to go is you.So sad you are still here.
Kissy, and anyone else putting blame on the shop owner need to consider that if this guy had gotten away, he may have tried to rob another store. And in robbing that store he might have ended up hurting someone who was completely innocent. It's a shame that the guy died, but he was at fault.
Arron did not deserve to die...End of story..What he did was wrong and in no way am I condoning or saying its okay to commit crimes. I do believe that people who break the law should be punished accordingly. But in MY OPINION killing someone over something like this blows my mind. Arron was an awesome person and all those who knew him would agree. Arron was a gentle, intelligent, loving, charismatic person who yes did have some battles to fight but he never deserved to die the way he did. My posts were toward those who were "happy" and "applauded" what happened. I bet everything that those of you who think this way...if you knew him...your posts would be a lot different!
Ah, yes......an intelligent, loving, charismatic robber. Such a nice man.....we should behold him and place him in high esteem, giving him whatever he needs.
So sorry for the spelling in a previous post. 8chanice must be wearing off on me. "Off" and "computer". My bad.
I noticed that Arron was also a gentle robber as well, according to Kissy. So many nice adjectives to describe this man! Apparently, a saint robbed this drive-thru!
Thunder like they say if you cant say anything nice then keep your trap shut.(OOPS)my bad.
If you pull a gun on someone and threaten their life for a few hundred dollars, you deserve to be shot at, and thusly killed! Period. Lock this thread please!
He's lucky he was a "nice" guy. He needs all the support at heaven's gates he can get!
I thing he was friends with Michael Jackson
That was probably the first gun he ever owned because he didn't have one on the football field.
Ask OSU secondary. Burn
Who do you think was smarter Maurice Clarrett or Arron Agler? Let's ask them. Only one answered.
And the best news about all of this is left at least 1 child for all of us hard working, tax paying citizens to support. Unless, the baby mama supports her children the same way he supported his drug habit.
What a legacy to leave the citizens of Akron and his child(ren). I am sure he was a great, upstanding young man and this was not his fault and he was a great daddy, son, brother, friend, blah, blah blah.
What a waste.
If I have to read if you knew him one more time I might lose it. Obviously you didn't know him either. If you did you may have saw this coming. Maybe, he only let you see what he wanted you to see. Because it is plain to see he is the guilty party. I did know him and this does not suprise me. Karma
I know aaron when he was in high school and I want to church with him . all of us kids looked up to him and He was the football star and was involved with church. He was a great person to be around. always smiling !! After he want to michigan Never saw him maybe sometimes when he home for breaks. It was a shock to hear about all this its sad what drugs do to people even good ones :( I just want to remember aaron the way he was before all this.
