Need a jump? Akron man leaps over car for Amway publication

Beacon Journal staff report

Akron car jumper Chris Bryant, who was featured in an online Nike commercial a year ago, jumped over more cars Thursday in downtown Akron.

The 25-year-old Bryant was photographed jumping over a series of cars on Rand Avenue for an article that will appear in Amway Global's Achieve magazine, said his promoter, Rick Arkenburg, of Tallmadge.

Bryant sells Amway Global products as an independent business owner.

Bryant also works for Waterloo Restaurant & Catering.

LeBron James-- Wake up and take a lesson in humility--this young man is one of the greatest that I have the opportunity to meet. He is polite--doesn't show off in front of people and is so helpful at his job at the Waterloo. I have nothing but good words to speak of him.I wish him nothing but continued success in his future--both in his accomplishment as a car jumper and also as an Amway representative--(your company is fortunate in having him represtent you.)

Anyone involved with Amway needs their head examined. Talk about your pyramid scheme.
