Paul Kedra, 91, of Akron, Ohio, walks through the halls of Akron's Barber Elementary School on Jan. 31, 2008. He attended Barber as a sixth grader when it first opened in 1928. Former students and faculty walked through the school that will be razed. A new one is being built on the same spot with a tentative opening date of August 2009. (Karen Schiely/Akron Beacon Journal)
