4 Stark County residents seriously injured in fatal Ohio crash

Beacon Journal staff report

Four Stark County residents were seriously injured in a fatal crash in Huron County late Tuesday night.

Beacon Journal news partner WEWS reports a woman stopped at a traffic signal was killed on U.S. Route 20 in Bellevue when her vehicle was hit from behind by a car carrying the four Stark residents.

Tracy Albright, 36, was killed when her 2002 Chevrolet Blazer was struck by a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis. In the Grand Marquis were Morgan Jevec, 24, of Massillon, as well as Canton residents Steven Gresser, 31, Christopher Watters, 48, and Ricky Treherne Jr., 32. All four were flown to Toledo hospitals, the television station reports. None of them were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash and all suffered serious injuries, highway patrol said.

A third vehicle was hit by the Grand Marquis, and a passenger in the vehicle was treated for injuries and released at the scene.
