An Akron man is accused of firing several shots into his girlfriend’s car with their 2-month-old baby inside.

No one was injured in the shooting about noon Friday in the 200 block of North Adams Street.

Police said Cory Little, 25, was arguing with his girlfriend when he pulled out a pistol and fired a number of shots into her car.

He was arrested after trying to leave the scene in his own car, police said, and a 9 mm pistol was recovered.

Little is charged with felonious assault, child endangering, carrying a concealed weapon and domestic violence. An Akron woman inside his car was arrested on charges of heroin possession.

Little’s girlfriend, 21, was charged with misrepresenting identity and falsification after police say she provided a false name to officers.
