An Akron man is accused of ordering a mail carrier from an alley at gunpoint.
William Dawson, 21, is also charged with two counts of carrying a concealed weapon, aggravating menacing and drug abuse.
He was arrested Wedneday after police say he pulled a gun and told the carrier to “stay out of the alley.” The incident happened around the 700 block of North Main Street.
Police say Dawson also had a knife, a bag of marijuana and two scales.
Dawson is scheduled to appear Friday in Akron Municipal Court.
