Akron police are investigating the shooting of a man who managed to walk inside Akron General Medical Center early Tuesday.
The man, 26, was shot once in the ankle. He was expected to survive.
Police say details surrounding the shooting are sketchy. The man could not identify the shooter.
The man said he was at a Thornton Avenue apartment complex at about 2 a.m. when he was shot. Police were called when the man limped into the hospital’s emergency room.
