An Akron man was shot twice after pulling his car into his home’s driveway early Wednesday morning.
The victim, 39, was being treated at Akron General Medical Center for nonlife-threatening injuries, police said. No suspect has been identified.
The man told police he returned to his Frederick Boulevard home at about 3 a.m. when another car pulled in from behind. Someone inside the car, which held a man and a woman, fired several shots into the victim’s 2001 Ford Taurus before fleeing.
The victim was struck in the leg and suffered a graze wound to his neck, police said. He could not provide a detailed description of the suspects.
