An Akron man wanted on murder charges has surrendered to police.
Gracshawn Thomas, 22, surrendered to detectives Thursday afternoon, accompanied by his attorney, Robert Meeker.
Thomas was being held in the Summit County Jail on a charge of aggravated murder pending an initial court appearance.
Police said Thomas fatally shot Alfonso Golden Jr., who was found dead inside his 2005 Dodge Magnum in the 400 block of East Waterloo Road. He had been shot multiple times.
Golden, 28, had been driving west on East Waterloo when another driver, inside a tan-colored SUV, pulled up next to him and fired shots, police said. The SUV driver then continued westbound.
