Akron police are looking for a man who shot a Barberton man in the leg Tuesday morning.
Police say around 6 a.m. Tuesday officers were called to a reported shooting in the 1300 block of Massillon Road.
Authorities say the 25-year-old victim was in a fistfight in a parking lot with a friend over keys to his friend’s vehicle.
Pruett told authorities that he was trying to get his friend’s car keys to prevent him from driving intoxicated when they were confronted by another man.
An argument ensued with the third man, who pulled out a gun and shot Pruett in the leg.
Pruett was taken to an Akron hospital for treatment of nonlife-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.
