Akron Police say a 22-year-old woman woke up around 2 a.m. this morning and found an intruder inside of her home in the 300 block of East Voris Street.
Police say the suspect, who wore a ski mask, punched the victim. The victim fought back and the suspect ran from the home.
The victim suffered scratches on her neck and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
