YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO: Relatives and friends of a northeast Ohio college student who was killed have marked the one-year anniversary of the shooting near the Youngstown State University campus with an anti-violence march.
The shooting during a party at an off-campus house last February killed 25-year-old fraternity member Jamail Johnson and injured 11 people.
The Vindicator in Youngstown reports dozens of supporters marched Monday in remembrance of Johnson and others killed in 2011.
The newspaper says six people have been charged with crimes connected to the February shooting. One pleaded guilty to illegally having a firearm but has not been sentenced. The others are scheduled for a pretrial hearing later this month.
