Bath Township mother charged with making methamphetamine in home with 2 children living there

Beacon Journal staff report

The Summit County Drug Unit arrested a Bath Township mother accused of making methamphetamine inside her home.

Crystal Brown, 31, was arrested on felony charges of drug manufacturing Wednesday following a search at 1285 N. Hametown Road.

Task force agents say they found six one-pot meth labs used to make the drug inside the house.

Authorities also said Brown’s two children, ages 6 and 3, were living in the home while the highly toxic drug was being made.

Additional charges could be brought, authorities said.
