Burglary reports from Akron police - July 20

Here are the burglary reports released July 20 by the Akron Police Department.

• 200 block Dayton Place, July 17 to July 18, forced open rear door. Taken: $75, Xbox 360, surround sound stereo, DVDs and CDs.

• 300 block Pioneer Street, June 1 to July 18, entered vacant house by unknown means. Taken: copper pipes.

• 500 block Watson Street, July 17 to July 18, entered detached garage through unlocked door. Taken: 2001 Dodge Stratus.

• 1100 block Reed Avenue, July 1 to July 18, entered vacant house by unknown means. Taken: copper pipes.

• 800 block Beardsley Street, July 17 to July 18, kicked in door. Taken: air conditioner, CD player, TV, DVD player, purse, Miles Davis print, jewelry, clothing, meat from freezer.

• 1600 block Highview Avenue, July 18, removed window air conditioner to gain entry. Taken: computer, SSN card, checkbook, jewelry.

• 1300 block California Avenue, July 17 to July 18, kicked in side door. Taken: pending.

• 700 block Orlando Avenue, July 16 to July 18, broke glass of front door to gain entry. Taken: Xbox Kinect.

• 1500 block Claudia Avenue, July 18, forced entry through bedroom window. Taken: a TV.

• 300 block Bettie Street, July 18 to July 19, kicked in rear door. Taken: two birth certificates, two SSN cards, Playstation 3, jewelry.
