Burglary reports from Akron police - March 10

• 1200 block Newton Street, March 7 to 8, kicked in front door to gain entry and took property. Taken: $40, a TV, e-tablet, CD-R.

• 2200 block Bellfield Avenue, March 8 to 9, broke window to gain entry into vacant home. Taken: pending.

•1200 block Virginia Avenue, March 7, entered by unknown means. Taken: a laptop, tablet, a TV, wireless tom cat device.

•1400 block Elder Avenue, March 4 to 7, entered by unknown means and took property. Taken: Xbox 360, video games, DVDs.

•1100 block Wilbur Avenue, Feb. 26 to March 8, entered vacant home by unknown means. Taken: copper pipe.

Law Offices, 2745 Nesbitt Avenue, March 8 to 9, broke window in door. Taken: pending.

•2400 block Manchester Road, March 7, kicked in front door to gain entry. Taken: a laptop, cell phone.

•1000 block Winton Avenue, March 1 to 7, forced side door of vacant home to gain entry. Taken: copper pipes.

•300 block Madison Avenue, March 1 to 8, forced door to gain entry of vacant home. Taken: four ceiling fans, copper pipes.

•100 block North Portage Path, March 3 to 8, forced basement window to gain entry. Taken: Mac computer, Visio TV, Dewalt drill, portable safe, jewelry.

•800 block Leonard Street, March 6, entered through unlocked window. Taken: $500, e-tablet, women’s clothing and shoes. Suspects named.

•West Crossier Street, March 7, entered vacant, unsecured house and set fire. Taken: pending.

•Susan Court, March 6, entered by unknown means. Taken: jewelry, clothing, household goods.

•200 block West North Street, March 7, broke window in rear door. Taken: computer keyboard and mouse, iPodNano, Garmin GPS.
