Burglary reports from Akron police - May 9

Here are the burglary reports released May 9 by the Akron Police Department.

•500 block Bastogne Drive, May 5, broke window of door with rock. Taken: checkbook, diamond engagement ring, mountain bike.

•West Long Street, May 2 to 4, broke out window of side door with a rock. Taken: $60, two air compressors, three nail guns, BB gun, Xbox 360, video games.

•900 block Fess Avenue, May 5, forced entry through rear door. Taken: PlayStation 3.

•400 block South Arlington Street, April 23 to 30, entered vacant house. Taken: floor tiles, cement, copper wire.

•Oakdale Avenue, May 1 to 3, forced entry through rear door and took property. Taken: pistol, .22 cal magazine to a Mossberg rifle.

•100 block Middlebury Avenue, May 7, forced window of garage to gain entry. Taken: Polis chainsaw, Polis trimmer, Schwinn bike, humidifier.

•600 block Brittain Road, May 6, broke into victim house, assaulted him and stole his truck. Taken: 2014 Toyota Tacoma/gray. Suspect named.

•600 block Hancock Avenue, May 6 to 7, entered through unlocked rear door. Taken: a TV, PS4.
