AKRON: A Canton man was sentenced Tuesday to 17 years in prison for molesting an 11-year-old girl over a two-year period, authorities said.
Larry W. Johnson, 55, of 10th Street NW in Canton, pleaded guilty last month to rape and gross sexual imposition.
Prosecutors said the offenses occurred from 2008 to 2010.
The sentence included a one-year term for a probation violation.
Johnson was sentenced by Summit County Common Pleas Judge Tom Parker.
