Canton McKinley senior linebacker Se’Von Pittman has reportedly made a verbal commitment to play for Ohio State and new Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer, according to multiple online reports Monday night.
Pittman, one of the state’s top recruits in the 2012 class, had previously made a verbal commitment to play at Michigan State.
Pittman is one of three Ohio players to commit to playing in the 2012 International Bowl Feb. 1 in Austin, Texas.
Pittman is ranked the nation’s No. 9 defensive end in the 2012 class by recruiting website Scout.com.
