Beacon Journal staff report
North Royalton police are investigating a brawl that broke over the weekend at a child’s birthday party.
Officers were called to the Jump Yard on York Road on Saturday afternoon for a report that 20 adults were fighting.
Police say the adults were fighting in a party room in the business that features inflatables.
Police Lt. Keith Tarase said the fight erupted after the birthday child’s father and his girlfriend left the party and found that the tires on their vehicle had been slashed.
The pair returned to party, Tarase said, looking for the culprit and that’s when fists started flying. Two people were arrested for assault.
“Hopefully the child won’t remember this birthday party,” Tarase said.
