Several Medina County communities have rescheduled trick or treat for 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.
Making the change were the city of Medina, village of Lodi and Lafayette, Medina and Montville townships.
“With the unprecedented storm and the uncertainty of its duration, we all feel this is in the best interest of the safety of our children, as well as the public using our roadways during this event,” Medina Mayor Dennis Hanwell said in a news release.
The village of Gloria Glens in Medina County will hold trick or treat from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
In Summit County, the Richfield village and township has rescheduled its beggars’ night for 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday. The parade will form at Richfield Fellowship Hall and will begin at 4:45 p.m.
