Counselors available for Medina High School students after classmate's suicide

Medina school officials notified parents Thursday night that a student at the high school had committed suicide.

Principal Bryan Farson told parents in a recorded message that a freshman took his or her life Thursday afternoon.

Farson said counselors will be at the school beginning at 6:30 a.m. and remain through the school day.

No further details were released.
