A couple is accused of posing as plumbers while burglarizing a Coventry Township home Thursday afternoon.
Robert Jennings Jr., 34, and his wife, Billie Lou Jennings, 32, are being held in the Summit County Jail on burglary charges.
Deputies say they found the Akron couple inside a Cottage Grove Road home about 1 p.m. after neighbors called 911 to report “suspicious” people entered the residence. Deputies say the couple had a saw and claimed they were hired to perform plumbing work. The homeowner was contacted and refuted that claim.
