AKRON: A female dance instructor was convicted Friday of having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy in Sagamore Hills.
Kimberly Sauto, 34, of North Ridgeville, was convicted on one felony count of unlawful sexual conduct, a third-degree felony. She is to be sentenced March 6 by Summit County Common Pleas Judge Judy Hunter.
Sauto, who is married and taught tap dancing, was convicted of having sexual contact with the boy in August and September. She was arrested by Sagamore Hills police in October after her husband alerted officers to text messages he discovered between his wife and the boy.
After the jury’s verdict was announced, Hunter revoked Sauto’s bond and ordered her held in the Summit County Jail.
