Falls police followed footprints in the snow to lead them to a man suspected of attempting to break into a woman’s apartment Friday morning.

Officers were called to an apartment on Cliffside Drive around 10 a.m. after a woman said she heard someone knock on her door then use an “unknown object” in the door jam in an attempt to get inside.

The woman said the intruder fled when she yelled.

Officers followed the tracks to a nearby apartment where they arrested Todd R. Siciliano, 35, and charged him with attempted burglary.

Siciliano also had three outstanding bench warrants out of Stow Municipal Court and one out of Portage County Ohio for a probation violation.
