A 33-year-old Canal Fulton woman was killed Friday afternoon in a accident on Arlington Road in Green.
Authorities say a Toyota Matrix ran into the back of a van stopped in northbound traffic along Arlington Road at 2 p.m. The Toyota’s driver was taken to Akron City Hospital where she died of her injuries.
A passenger in her vehicle was taken to Summa Health Center in Green. Her condition was not disclosed.
The Summit County sheriff’s department is investigating the crash.
Authorities say the traffic in the area will be restricted until 7 p.m. for investigators to reconstruct the crash scene.
