Five people are facing methamphetamine-related charges after Akron police raided a Kenmore home Sunday.
Police said they could smell chemicals as they approached the house in the 1200 block of Florida Avenue. They noticed several people scurrying inside.
A search warrant resulted in police seizing a number of chemicals used to make the drug.
Those arrested include: Joseph Michael Overdorf, 29; Alan E. Devine, 23; John M. Greathouse, 30; and Tracy Marie Strata, 23, of Akron; and Amanda L. Cline, 26, of Springfield Township.
Each is charged with illegal manufacturing of methamphetamine and illegal assembly of chemicals.
