Follow what members of Ohio's congressional delegation are saying about the inauguration

By Ohio.com Published: January 20, 2017

As Donald Trump is sworn in as the 45th president, and as a protest march develops in Washington, what will your delegates to Congress do and say?

The Twitter feed on this page will display the tweets of representatives from the Akron-Canton area and Ohio's two U.S. Senators.

U.S. Rep. Marcia Fudge, a Democrat representing Cleveland and Akron, will not attend the inauguration. She said earlier this week: "I will be at home in Cleveland. #IStandWithJohnLewis" Republican Jim Renacci of Wadsworth, who represents all of Wayne and parts of Summit, Medina, Stark and Portage counties, has posted about his speaking engagements, presidential trivia and his position on the Affordable Care Act: " Rising premiums. Unaffordable deductibles. Fewer choices. Obamacare is failing. It's time we provide #RescueAndRelief."

On the opposing side, Democrat Tim Ryan says of national health care: "This CBO report is an example of why I oppose an #ACARepeal. The law is working, repeal would hurt millions. The @GOP must preserve it." Ryan represents the area north and east of Akron to the Mahoning Valley.

Others in the feed: U.S. Rep. Bob Gibbs, a Republican who represents southern Stark and western Medina counties; U.S. Rep. Dave Joyce, a Republican representing northeast Summit County into the northeast corner of the state; and Sens. Rob Portman and Sherrod Brown, Republican and Democrat respectively.
