Girl Scouts of North East Ohio halt cookie deliveries

Girl Scouts of North East Ohio has cancelled all cookie deliveries scheduled for Wednesday, citing the expected rain/ice/snow wintry mix for the Akron area.

Cookie deliveries are when volunteers drive through lanes of semi trucks to pick up their troop’s cookies.

Nearly 3 million boxes of cookies have been ordered in northeast Ohio.

Girl Scouts of North East Ohio began cookie deliveries Saturday, and there are scheduled for continue for several days.

Cookie booths will begin Saturday across 18 Northeast Ohio counties.
