A 31-year-old Green man was convicted by a Summit County jury Wednesday of one count of unlawful sexual conduct, authorities said.
Jarod Nathaniel Wood will be sentenced March 8 by Common Pleas Judge Tammy O’Brien.
Woods’ bond was revoked after the jury returned the verdict. He was taken to the county jail, where he will await sentencing.
Prosecutors said the victim was a 15-year-old girl, living with her family, while Wood was remodeling a home next door in October 2010.
The incident occurred in an upstairs bedroom after Wood bought pizza and alcohol and shared it with the victim and other girls one evening, prosecutors said.
The victim’s mother notified police, prosecutors said, when she noticed her daughter appeared to be drunk.
