Austin Klein scored 13 points, Jamar Dukes scored 12 points and the Panthers (17-6) defeated the Blue Devils (10-14) in a Salem Division III sectional final.
The Panthers play Canton Central Catholic in a district semifinal at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Salem.
The Panthers trailed 23-18 at halftime but rallied in the second half. The Panthers outscored the Blue Devils 13-9 in the third quarter to cut the deficit to one point and went on a 13-9 run in the fourth quarter for the win.
Canton Central Catholic 70, Columbiana Crestview 63
Justin Nodo and Justin Lyde each scored 15 points for the Crusaders (7-17) in a Salem Division III sectional final win over the Rebels (14-9).
John Paulowski scored 11 points for the Crusaders, who led 52-47 after the third quarter and outscored the Rebels 18-16 in the fourth quarter to hold on for the win.
Lake 54, Canfield 51
The Blue Streaks (20-3) outscored the Cardinals 26-11 in the fourth quarter to rally for the Alliance Division I sectional final win.
The Blue Streaks trailed 40-28 after the third quarter and shut down the Cardinals in the fourth quarter and advance to play Youngstown East in a district semifinal at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Alliance.
Alex Belinsky scored 18 points and Mitchell Spotleson added 17 points to lead the Blue Streaks. Jarret Vrabel led the Cardinals with 14 points.
Mogadore 78, Sebring 36
Hunter Van Camp’s 15 points led the Wildcats (19-4) over the Trojans in a Struthers Division IV sectional final.
The Wildcats jumped out to a 20-5 lead after the first quarter and led 41-13 at halftime.
Austin Mahoney scored 11 points for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats will play Youngstown Christian in a district semifinal at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Struthers.
Windham 57, Vienna Mathews 43
Seniors Matt Knight and Cameron Pozsgai each scored 14 points to lead the Bombers (21-2) to a Warren Division IV sectional final win.
The Bombers led 20-9 at halftime and scored 20 points in the third quarter to pull away for the win.
The Bombers will play Maplewood in a district semifinal at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Warren Harding.
Mogadore 50, Elyria Catholic 39
Ashley Barker scored 21 points for the Wildcats (13-13) in a Barberton Division III district final win over the Panthers.
Hudson finished in third place at the state gymnastics tournament.
The Explorers finished with a team score of 140.20, two points behind second-place Strongsville. Brecksville placed first with a score of 148.33.
Mackenzie Miller scored a 9.150 in the vault and Teghan Piper scored an 8.900 in the uneven bars and also led the Explorers in the balance beam with a score of 8.675. Logan Custer led the Explorers in the floor exercise with a score of 9.175.
Medina finished in seventh place with a score of 136.83 and was led by Samantha Borrelli.
