A Hiram woman was killed Sunday night after he car crashed into a tree and flipped onto its top.
Rebecca Brownlee, 23, died at the crash scene on Pope Road in Hiram Township, according to the State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 9:15 p.n. when Brownlee’s 2008 Pontiac G6 went off the side of the road near Winchell Road.
Brownlee was trapped inside and had to be freed by rescuers. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say she was not wearing a seat belt.
The crash remains under investigation.
