TOLEDO, OHIO: A coroner’s office in Ohio expects to complete autopsies soon on three children who died in a murder-suicide.
Police say notes found at a house in Toledo indicate the children’s grandmother and uncle killed themselves and the children by filling their garage with deadly fumes from a pickup truck.
Investigators hope the results from autopsies being completed on Wednesday will give them more answers about what happened.
Police and family friends say the murder-suicide appears to stem from a family disagreement over where the children should live.
The children had been living with their grandmother the past three years. Their mother decided recently to bring all the children back home.
A funeral for the children is set for Monday in Toledo with visitation taking place this weekend.
