AKRON: A 57-year-old Cleveland man died Monday after crashing his motorcycle over the weekend.

Charles Duncan was operating a 2004 Harley Davidson westbound on U.S. 224 when he lost control of the motorcycle at Manchester Road at about 5:50 p.m. Sunday, authorities said.

Duncan fell off the motorcycle and slid across the roadway and into a grassy berm, the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office said Tuesday.

He was transported to Akron General Medical Center where he later died from his injuries at 3:10 p.m. Monday.

The Akron Police Department and the medical examiner’s office are investigating the crash.
