A woman was attacked in her car and robbed of her purse while stopped at an intersection in Cuyahoga Falls, police said.
The woman, 23, was not injured and declined treatment. The two culprits fled from scene near 10th Street and Jefferson Avenue, police said.
The woman told police she was alone in her car when the two men pulled up from behind in another vehicle about 7 p.m. Wednesday. The men got out of their car and then opened the door to the woman’s vehicle, police said.
Officers say she was struck in the head during the attack while the men took her purse and attempted to take her car key.
Police say the men are in their 20s. One is white and wore a red ball cap backward along with a black hooded sweatshirt. The other man appears to be of multiple races. He has short hair and wore a blue jacket. They drove off in a small silver-colored sedan.
