GREEN: A Canton woman died Sunday when the motorcycle she was riding crashed after a car turned in front of it.
Diana Stoica, 51, of 47th Street, was a passenger on the motorcycle that crashed at the intersection of Christman and East Caston roads about 4:30 p.m., a spokesman from the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office said Monday.
Stoica was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:48 p.m.
An autopsy will be conducted Monday, the medical examiner’s office said.
The Summit County Sheriff’s Office and the medical examiner’s office are investigating the incident. It was not immediately clear if any charges have been filed.
