Authorities have identified the body of a New Franklin man found in Turkeyfoot Lake last weekend.
Robert W. Johnson, 55, died of yet-to-be-determined causes, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office. There are no signs of foul play.
Investigators are awaiting toxicology test results before determining a cause and manner of death.
Authorities are unsure how Johnson, who lived on West Caston Road, came to be in the water.
His body was found Friday evening near a boating dock off Coleman Road.
New Franklin rescue workers pulled Johnson from the water, but he could not be revived.
Police are investigating the death.
