Norton rejects charter issue; Field school levy fails

Beacon Journal staff report

Voters in Norton on Tuesday said no to a change in the city charter that would have affected assessments for a controversial sewer project in the city and future public works.

In Portage County, a levy seeking additional money for Field schools was rejected.

In Medina County, results were mixed for Cloverleaf schools. Voters renewed a levy but rejected a request for new money.

In Wayne County, a renewal levy for Orrville schools passed overwhelmingly.
