Number of homicides in Cleveland in 2014 already surpasses previous 5 years

The city of Cleveland already has seen more homicides in 2014 than it did during the past five years, according to WEWS.

The television station reports there have been 19 homicides in the city in 2014. Two of the killings are unsolved.

Councilman Zack Reed told WEWS the city is in need of more policing in high-crime areas.
