COLUMBUS: A western Ohio man will spend at least 21 years in prison after pleading guilty to secretly videotaping young girls in a bathroom at his home and trading the images for other online child pornography.
Mickell Close, 31, of Quincy, entered the plea in federal court in Columbus Thursday.
Federal authorities say they arrested Close in November as part of a nationwide child pornography sweep that rescued dozens of victims of child exploitation.
A federal agent said numerous images of young girls in sexually explicit activity or bondage were found on Close’s computers.
The Columbus Dispatch reports that the plea agreement calls for a prison sentence of 21 to 27 years, plus 20 years of supervised release. No sentencing date was set.
