Ohio police arrest 3 in home invasion slaying

Associated Press

FAIRFIELD, OHIO: Police in this northern Cincinnati suburb said Tuesday they arrested three people and were seeking a fourth suspect in an apparent home-invasion robbery that left a Southwest Ohio youth dead.

Fairfield police said that two 19-year-old women and a 26-year-old man were jailed. No attorney information was available, pending court appearances on aggravated murder charges. Police were looking for 26-year-old Joseph Goodin, and said he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Nineteen-year-old Julian Slaven was fatally shot Saturday night in his Fairfield home. Police have said they suspect the shooting wasn’t random, and officer Doug Day said the shooting appeared to be part of “a drug deal gone bad.”

He said Misty Williams and Christia Frymire were arrested during a traffic stop Tuesday. Jerry Eacholes of Middletown was arrested separately.
