Ohio woman dragged by truck after crash, police say

Associated Press

BRATENAHL, OHIO: Police near Cleveland say a man in a truck dragged a woman while trying to leave a crash scene after a verbal argument, then punched and drove over her, leaving her critically hurt.

Police in the village of Bratenahl say the two drivers were involved in a wreck Sunday evening and argued afterward. Police say the 27-year-old South Euclid woman apparently got caught or held on and was dragged as the man tried to drive away.

Police say the man then got out of his vehicle, assaulted the woman and drove over her. Police say her mother witnessed what happened.

Investigators are seeking the public’s help to identify the man. They say he was in a full-size pickup truck that probably would have front-end damage.
