The ramp from eastbound state Route 224 ramp to Interstate 277 northbound (the Kenmore leg of the expressway) is closed because of an overturned semi trailer. The Akron Police Department is rerouting traffic to continue eastbound on Route 224 to northbound Interstate 77.
It was not immediately clear how long traffic will be diverted.
The Akron Police Department is asking motorists to avoid driving in this area if possible.
