BOSTON HEIGHTS: A 33-year-old Peninsula woman was killed Friday afternoon when she lost control of her vehicle in the westbound lane of state Route 303 and struck an eastbound vehicle, authorities said.
Melissa Pearsall died at the scene at 12:41 p.m., a spokesman for the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office said.
Pearsall was travelling on Route 303 about 12:20 p.m. when her vehicle went off the right side of the road, hit a driveway, then crossed over the center line, striking the eastbound vehicle.
An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.
No additional details were available about the condition of the other vehicle’s driver or any occupants.
